Saturday 25th June v Gomersal away (1-30pm)
First Team without paceman Tim Linley chase 216 to win by 4 wickets with Tom Slater scoring 55 and Usman Arshad 36 not out to further consolidate their 5th place in the League.Once again Nadeem Mohammed's all=round performance was excellent.

Saturday 4th July v Manningham Mills at home (1-30pm)
A tough match against local rivals and second to bottom Mills.

2's keep thieir promotion bid alive with an excellent win.

Wednesday 29th April v Haworth Road at home (6-30pm)
The U17s are aiming to retain their title this season and start the campaign with a home match.

Under 15s:

Sunday 26th April v Pudsey St.Lawrence away (10 am)
U15 lose an exciting match with only 2 balls remaining. Diven Tailor and Nadeem Mohammed both hit unbeaten 50s.

Under 13s

Thursday 25th June v Pudsey SL away (6-30pm)
Lost by 25 runs despite excellent bowling performance.

Under 11s

Sunday 26th April v Tong Park at home (10 am)
U11's lose by only 5 runs in their first match.

Roberts Park and Saltaire World Heritage Centre


Roberts Park and the World Heritage Centre of Saltaire - well worth a visit. Come down to Roberts Park and enjoy the cricket! We have probably the most picturesque ground in the Bradford League, particularly in the spring when all the blossom is out. It is also the only ground to be in a World Heritage Centre.

Due to the reburbishment of Roberts Park car-parking is no longer permitted. Players, Officials & Spectators are advised to use roadside parking on Higher Coach Road and local car-parks. Disabled Badge holders to park by pre-arrangement only.

2009 Entrance fees to First Team matches includes programme:
Adult £3, Senior Citizens £1.50, Members free except cup matches.

The Matchday Programme is probably the best in the League. Reg Nelson writes well-researched articles. These appear in the Library Section of the web site, accessed through the Community menu, following the completion of each home match.

History of Saltaire Cricket Club

Formed in 1869 Saltaire CC has a long a famous history. Joining the Bradford League in 1905 we have won the Championship 6 times and Priestley Cup 5 times. Famous ex-players include the legendary S.F.Barnes and Jim Laker.
